After lunch we will be happy to take you back to the centre of town or if you please, you may walk along the “Via vecchia” (old road) that leads to Sant’ Antonia di Mavignola and that few people know of, making it a peaceful walk with a dazzling view of the Brenta Dolomites.

Via vecchia (the old road)

In 1875 Giovanbattista Righi, a man from the village of Strembo, decided to build this road to connect Pinzolo to the new tourist location. It cost him great effort and money but those 13 kms were considered the most beautiful of the whole Alpine area. Once you left the woods around Pinzolo, the road lead to the village of Mavignola, offering a great view of the Brenta Dolomites and then to Madonna di Campiglio that owes the beginning of its fame to this very road.

The road leads you through old chalets that have now been renovated and you have the impression of walking in the old farming atmosphere.
